Pineal Gland Calcification: What Research Shows
What pineal calcification is, how common it appears in imaging research and what remains uncertain.
This guide is designed as a hub: start here, then follow the linked evidence and product-research paths.
What it means
Pineal calcification refers to mineral deposits visible in the pineal gland. A 2023 systematic review and meta-analysis reported a pooled prevalence of 61.65%, but the studies were highly heterogeneous, so the pooled number should not be treated as a universal personal probability.
Evidence boundary: The existence and prevalence of calcification do not by themselves prove that a consumer “detox” or supplement can reverse it.
